Projection mapping

The purpose of this project was to address the effects rising waters will have on the city of Venice. Creating a soap opera narrative, I linked to surround sound speakers to play audio relative to which windows are illuminated on the building

This image is of what can be done within a store front as a temporary installation to promote a product.

The face series is a proof of concept for a installation. The idea is to capture faces in the exhibit’s audience’s and project them onto mannequin heads on the wall.

The theory behind this installation is the self attraction influenced by social media. With the craze behind the selfie at an all time high, this experience allows people to see themselves in a museum.

This projection took place during the Block Project’s initial fundraiser placed in Downtown Seattle. Through a loop of animations made on Adobe Aftereffects, I created visuals explaining this non-for-profit’s history, purpose, and aspirations. Playing for people on the street and in line, this captured the attention of the guests in line as well as the pedestrians on the street.
