This family was the first modular seating unit I took on in my career. What started off as a small number of options, has since grown to be the biggest family the company has to offer. Engineering a modular family is unique to other furniture, as sticking to standards is the name of the game. From making sure all the seats have the same crown to aligning the ganging systems, each piece needs to fit with one another. Another lesson I learned is to establish a statement of line. While some angles and radii may work on a low back straight lounge, a high back curved piece may not have the ability to match.
